Dear honey scientists, dear beekeepers,
The Apimondia International Honey Commission is glad to invite you to a First World Symposium on
Honeydew Honey. Honeydew honey is an important honey type. Recent research has shown that it has
especially high antioxidant activity.
The Symposium is going to take place in Tzarevo on the Black Sea Coast in Bulgaria, near the Turkish
border. The Symposium will be a part of the Annual Festival of Honeydew Honey in Tzarevo and will take
place in the local city hall, see two pictures on the bottom of this page. During the same time a Folk
Dance and Music Festival is also taking place.
Please inform also other researchers or beekeepers with research and practical experience in honeydew
honey about this symposium. It is a unique possibility to study and taste honeydew honey from all over
the world!
SYMPOSIUM
The goal of the symposium is to increase our understanding and knowledge of honeydew honey. All
